The Australian College of Nursing Grants and Awards are now open! Applications close Monday 10 June 2013
ACN funds and
administers a number of grants that are available to Members and Fellows of
ACN. There is over
$100,000 worth of grants and awards on offer for Postgraduate, PhD and

Emerging
Nurse Leader (ENL) Program
The ENL Program identifies five undergraduate nursing students who have
demonstrated a commitment to leadership in nursing through their involvement in
student activities, community activities, student representation and/or other
involvement in the advancement of the nursing profession.
Continence Foundation of Australia
The Continence Foundation of Australia funds a number of scholarship programs to increase the knowledge and skills of health professionals working in continence. Follow the link for more information.
NAHSSS Scheme
The Nursing Allied Health Scholarship and Support Scheme (NAHSSS) formerly
known as Rural Allied Health Undergraduate Scholarship (RAHUS) and the Rural
and Remote Nursing Undergraduate Scheme (RANUS) is an Australian Government
initiative to encourage individuals undertaking nursing and allied health

The next NAHSSS Allied Health CPD Scholarship round has opened. This is for activities that take place between 1 July 2013 to 31 December 2013. NAHSSS Allied Health Continuing Professional Development
Supports practicing allied health
professions to attend continuing professional development activities such as

Cancer Council Queensland Travel Grants
Cancer Council Queensland
is pleased to offer a limited number of travel grants to partially contribute
to conference registration and travel costs to enable nurses and allied health
professionals who care for people with cancer and who work in regional, rural
or remote areas of Queensland to attend the Cancer Nurses Society of Australia
(CNSA) 16th Winter Congress, to be held in Brisbane from 25-27th

Joan Edgecumbe Continuing Professional Development Scholarship
HISA is proud to introduce the Joan Edgecumbe Continued
Professional Development Scholarship into their repertoire of annual Awards and
scholarships. This scholarship is in recognition of the continued service and
passion to the health informatics sector by Mrs. Joan Edgecumbe. "Joan is one of HISA's founding members and over HISA's 20
year history occupied the role of Executive Officer, committee member and Board
member, until her retirement in 2011." The
Joan Edgecumbe Scholarship is designed to encourage undergraduate, graduate
certificate, diploma, masters and PhD students who demonstrate commitment and
promise in the field of health informatics to attend the annual Health
