Course information and outcomes:

This qualification covers workers who undertake a range of functions requiring application of knowledge and skills to achieve results in line with the organisation and business’ goals and strategic direction. These workers manage the operations and promotion of professional practices in the health sector.

Occupational titles for these workers may include:

• Practice Manager
• Business Manager
• Program Manager
• Service Manager

Entry requirements:

There is one pre-requisite HLTIN301C Comply with Infection Control Policies and Procedures for HLTIN403C Implement and Monitor Infection Control Policy and Procedures. The pre-requisite unit will be delivered as part of the training.

Course Duration:

This qualification can be completed in 18 months depending on a skills recognition process with a combination of up to 12 face to face workshops, self-paced workbooks and activities.

Course Units:

This course is nationally recognised and is a component of the National Health Training Package qualification. Requirements for Award of this qualification include 10 Core Units and 6 Elective Units.
